Every time I gaze out into the blue sky
I notice the shimmering rays from the sun
Showering my face with its beautiful light
As I wait for my handsome man to greet me

A love that's inviting
Cherished and honored
Wanted and needed
Desired and dreamt of
Could it truly be
That this man was meant to love me?

He pursues the heart of the Lord every morning
Before he seeks to pursue mine
What more could a woman of God ask for?

With every pep in his step, I seek to skip along
Every song that he sings, I return with a tune of my own
He sings the harmony, I sing the melody
Side by side we be

Two actors who long to transform the world for His glory
In the art we've fallen in love with
From the heart and mind of a child
To the heart and mind of an adult
Our love for the theatre
Has only grown deeper and farther than we could fathom~

Every time he picks me up from the ground
Pulling me into his embrace
Lifting my feet off the surface
Spinning me round and round
I feel the lightness of air, traveling through my body
The warmth felt in my heart grows and grows

No words can express
No story can tell
No song could personify
The vastness of a theatre kid

Everyone always underestimates the theatre kid
Thinking that he or she doesn't understand how the world works
How someone would honestly react to certain situations
“All you know is about your craft.
What makes you an equal like us?”

What people fail to acknowledge
Is that we feel and see everything
When someone sheds a tear, a rainstorm is felt in our soul
An anguish tugging on our heartstrings
When someone becomes angry, a rage of fire bursts through our eyes
If happiness is in the air,
A grand display of fireworks enact inside our minds
And throughout our outside appearances

The only way to experience the essence of life
Is to feel the energy around you
Feed off from the positive auras
And you will start to understand
The heart of an artist

So beautiful to fall in love with another artist
Who knows exactly how to feel in this world
Who can see the beauty and hidden meanings
In every song and every movie
In every creation God Himself has made for His desire~

A soul unknowingly cries out to another
What once was lost, now is found
The tune we create together is sound
Indeed, what a wonderful gift from above

One night, after my boyfriend left to go home, I felt inspired to write a poem ^^ He's only seen half of this poem soooo this will surely be a surprise when he reads the rest of it

We've been having such a blast together. He's such a wonderful and kind person. It makes me so sad that people would treat him wrongly, bully him, make him feel he's inferior when he's nothing but one of the best men to have ever walked this earth. He and I share many similarities, which scared me so much at first, but you know what- this is the first where I'm dating another actor. I've told one of my closest friends that the only person who would understand me as a person, and as an artist, is another actor, but I wasn't so sure that would happen to me. And wouldn't you know it- I'M DATING AN ACTOR
